Soror Chrislyn Turner
Georgia State Director
Soror Chrislyn Turner, the Georgia State Director, is a 20-year, ZOL-certified member Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She has served in various capacities, including stints as the Southeastern Region’s newsletter editor and as a member of the Regional Finance Committee and the National Honorary Members Committee.
A Life Member, Soror Turner is a charter member and former Basileus of the Rho Xi Zeta Chapter in Marietta, Georgia.
Soror Turner's community service commitment extends outside of Zeta as well. She has served as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for Roots, Inc., a non-profit agency that focuses on foster care and adoption of African American children in the state of Georgia.
Soror Turner holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from California State University, Long Beach, a master's degree in Public Administration from Clark Atlanta University. She currently works as a Budget Officer for the Department of Defense where she manages an annual budget of $25M.
