Domestic Violence Programmatic Initiative

Survivors of domestic violence often flee abuse with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and often turn to local domestic violence programs for refuge. Most domestic violence organizations provide survivors everything they need to start over, from bedding and towels to toothbrushes and shampoo. Seen as basic items for some, donations such as these are essential in empowering women to begin their road to healthy relationships.

As community conscious and action-oriented women, we can use the collective force of the sorority to make a tremendous impact by meeting domestic violence survivors’ basic needs. From the $20.20 Challenge to the Days of Giving Challenge to the Rep Your Region Challenge, we are hyper focused on our commitments to Service and Sisterhood by helping to give women a fresh start in the next chapter of their lives. The $20.20 campaign will begin July 17th and run through September 17th. The goal is to raise at least $20,000 ($2500 per region) in order to provide basic need items for various domestic violence organizations throughout our eight regions.
